Frequently Asked Questions about Trade-up

1. What is this program?
A: This program allows you the opportunity to get cash for up to four phones when you purchase a new Nokia device. You simply enter information about the phones you want to Trade-up and the estimator will give you a quote for your phones. Then, you buy a new Nokia mobile device through a Nokia authorized dealer or retailer, mail in your old phone(s) along with the proof of purchase for your new Nokia device and Dealtree will send you a check. (If you have purchased a new Nokia mobile device within thirty (30) days prior to your quote date, you can still participate in the program)

2. Q: What can I Trade-up?
A: You can send in up to four any brand or style mobile phones when you buy a brand new Nokia device as long as the new Nokia device is purchased in the U.S. from a Nokia authorized carrier or channel partner.

4. Q: How much will I get for my Trade-up product?
A: Age, condition and accessories will affect the value of your product. The best way to find out is to give it a try on the online Trade-up Estimator.

5. Q: Will all phones have value?
A: No. The item must be in good working condition, and some older models that no longer have any retail value are not accepted. The best way to find out is to check with the online Phone Estimator.

6. Q: What if my phone isn't worth anything?
A: Nokia takes pride in its recycling program and offers you the opportunity to recycle your phone at no charge to you. If the estimator gives your phone no value, you can still add it to your cart. When it comes time to checkout, you'll be provided a USPS shipping label to send these phones to Nokia's recycler to be recycled.

7. Q: To qualify for the program, do I have to buy my new Nokia device through Nokiausa.com?
A: No. You can buy your new Nokia mobile device through any authorized Nokia carrier or channel partner.

8. Q: Can I buy a second-hand phone or a refurbished phone?
A: No. You must buy a brand new Nokia mobile device from any authorized Nokia carrier or channel partner to qualify for this program.

9. Q: How long will it take to get the check?
A: A check will be mailed about 4-6 weeks after Dealtree receives your old phones and the original proof of purchase for your new Nokia mobile device.

10. Q: What happens at the Trade-up Center?
A: The phone is received, inspected, tested, and a check is sent by mail to you.

11. Q: When the item is received at the Trade-up Center, what happens if it is not worth what was quoted?
A: You will receive an email explaining why a different value was assigned. You will have three options: 1) You may accept the revised price; 2) You may have the item returned to you at your own expense; or 3) You may ask Dealtree to recycle your phone at no expense to you. Please note that your request to have the item returned to you must be received within 72 hours of the date the item is verified.

12. Q: What if I send my item in and decide I want it back?
A: If the transaction is not completed yet, and a check has not yet been issued, the item can be returned if you pay the return shipping costs.

13. Q: Is Nokia managing this program?
A: No. Nokia is offering this program, but Dealtree Services is providing the service. Dealtree is an independent company.
