How the Trade-up Program Works

1. Getting Started

Three Easy Steps to Trade-up your Mobile Phone
Step 1 - Obtain a quote for your current mobile phones (any manufacturer). You may send up to four phones.
Step 2 - Buy a new Nokia mobile device from a Nokia authorized dealer or retailer.
Step 3 - Mail in your old phones and the proof of purchase for the new Nokia device using the prepaid shipping labels provided by Dealtree.

Trade-up Confirmation
After completing the online Trade-up form, you will receive an email from Dealtree confirming the mobile phones you are sending in, the Trade-up transaction number and the estimated value of the phones. We recommend you keep a copy of this email for your records.
You must ship your Trade-up items and your proof of purchase for your new Nokia device within 30 days of the quote date or the estimated value will be invalid. If you experience technical difficulties, use our Trade-up support contact form.

2. Estimates and Payments

Determining your Mobile Phone Condition for Trade-up
Dealtree will perform an inspection of your mobile phone upon receiving it in their Trade-up Center. Because the condition of the mobile phone plays a part in determining its value, you must accurately state the phone's condition using the condition level definitions below as a guideline.

The Three Condition Levels Include:
Mint - the mobile phone is in excellent working condition and needs no refurbishment. The body of the product is clean and in LIKE NEW condition - and all parts of the phone operate as they did when the item was new.
Good - Fully functional - with no technical problems, may have a few "normal wear" scratches, smudges.
Poor - Functional and in working condition for the intended purpose with no major technical problems. The phone may have cosmetic defects such as dents, scratches, stickers and/or smudges. A battery cover may be missing, or there may be a crack in the case.

Receiving Payment
Dealtree will mail a check for the final value of the mobile phone within 4-6 weeks of receiving both your old phone and proof of purchase of your new Nokia mobile device.

The estimated value is not final until the item has been verified.

Please read the Terms and Conditions for further guidelines related to estimates and payments.
